Expert Directory Guidelines

The quality standards every agency and independent expert listing must meet to stay published.

Last updated 4 September 2026

1. Who can be listed

The directory lists two profile types. Agencies are companies and teams delivering services to brands. Independent experts are freelancers, consultants and solo professionals working under their own name.

In both cases, the applicant must genuinely work with Faire brands or with closely related wholesale and retail ecommerce work.

2. Listing standards

  • Describe services you currently deliver, not services you plan to offer.
  • Keep your website, contact email, location and markets served up to date.
  • Claims and results must be truthful and verifiable on request.
  • Use your own brand assets — logos, photography and copy you have the rights to.
  • One listing per business or person. Duplicate and shell listings are removed.
  • No lead-resellers, no listings created purely to redirect traffic elsewhere.

3. Editing your listing

Approved experts can edit their own profile from the expert dashboard, and those edits go live immediately. That trust comes with a responsibility: the profile must remain accurate at all times.

Case studies and reviews are the exception — they are always moderated before they become public.

We may lightly edit descriptions for clarity, length or formatting without changing their meaning.

4. Badges

Badges reflect checks we have carried out and are never sold. VERIFIED means we have confirmed identity, website and stated services. PRO indicates a deeper, evidenced specialism in Faire growth work.

Badges can be removed at any time if the evidence behind them no longer holds.

5. Placement and matching

Placement is not for sale. No expert can pay for a higher position, a badge or a better match score. Matching compares a brand's stated needs, stage and budget against what each listing actually offers.

6. Suspension and removal

We reserve the right to unpublish, suspend or permanently remove listings that breach these guidelines, go inactive, become misleading, or attract credible unresolved complaints.

Report a problem to hello@faireagencydirectory.com with as much detail as you can. We investigate every report.
