Application & Approval Policy

How applications are assessed, what approval means, and why applying does not guarantee a listing.

Last updated 4 September 2026

1. The directory is curated

Applying does not guarantee acceptance.

There is one application route for everyone, at /apply, and one review process behind it. Nothing is published automatically and no listing appears without a human decision.

2. The stages

  • Pending — your application has been received and is queued for review.
  • Under review — we are checking your website, services and Faire relevance.
  • Approved — your listing is prepared and an account invitation is sent to your application email.
  • Rejected — we explain the reason where we can, and you are welcome to reapply if the situation changes.

3. What we assess

  • Genuine, demonstrable experience with Faire brands or closely related wholesale ecommerce.
  • A working website and verifiable business or professional identity.
  • Clear, accurate service descriptions that match what the website shows.
  • Evidence behind any results, claims or specialisms stated in the application.
  • Whether the listing would genuinely help brands searching the directory.

4. Accounts follow approval

Submitting an application does not create a dashboard account. There is no public sign-up. Once approved, you receive a secure invitation to set a password, after which you can manage your listing, case studies and review requests.

Invitation links expire for security. If yours has lapsed, request a new one from the expert login page.

5. After approval

Approval is not permanent. Listings are re-checked over time and can be suspended or removed if the information becomes inaccurate, the business stops serving Faire brands, or our guidelines are breached.
